About the Event
The event, supported by the Department of Energy and Climate Change and the UK Technology Board, is both a conference and an exhibition. Key figures from industry and the Government will speak on prominent topics within the Oil & Gas industry whilst technology developers demonstrate their innovative ideas and participate in discussions about the industry’s future technology needs.
Innovation Centre Pavilion
CENSIS and our sister Innovation Centre, OGIC (Oil and Gas Innovation Centre) have come together for this year’s ITF event to promote the complementary activities, skills and strengths of the companies and research groups in each of the Centre’s areas of activity.
This combination has created the ‘Innovation Centre Pavillion’ which will showcase the expertise and capabilities of Scotland’s academic and technology SME communities that can address the showcase theme of “Making technology reduce cost and improve efficiency”.
The Pavilion will have a particular focus on the 10 year life extension period and short term technology solutions that can improve inspection methods for platforms and subsea infrastructure including, splash zones, platform leg, pipes and pressure vessels. Of particular interest areas are improved signal processing and data analytics, remote inspection methods and technologies that can provide integrity information under insulation and coatings.
