IoT Glasgow Meetup #12

10th September 2020
12:30-13:30
Online via Zoom

The CENSIS IoT Glasgow Meetups aim to crystallise entrepreneurial activity in the  area of Internet enabled communications – sometimes called M2M, most often called IoT and occasionally known as remote sensing – but generally relating to gathering data, transmitting it into the cloud and doing stuff with it.

Please join your host, CENSIS Business Development Manager Stephen Milne, for an informal lunchtime session of presentations and online chat.

Normally, our Meetups are held in person in the early evening, and we supply free pizza and drinks for the pre-event networking session, but during the age of Covid-19 we’re asking you to bring your own pizza (or lunchtime sandwich) to this one, and get the lowdown on some of the new trends, technologies, partnerships and opportunities in IoT.

We’ll confirm the agenda and speakers in due course.

Do you want to speak at the Meetup?

Are you interested in speaking at one of the IoT Meetups? We are looking for people to talk about their journey in IoT, whether that’s setting up a company, developing a product or service or your exploration in how IoT can be integrated into your organisation.

Tell us about:

  • Your successes
  • Mistakes you made along the way
  • What you would do differently
  • Anything you think would be relevant to others in the same journey

Presentation slots give you the chance to promote your company, product, interests or challenges in and around IoT. We offer slots from five-minute ‘lightning talks’ to 20 minutes or more for wider thought leadership.

To secure your spot email Stephen Milne or call 0141 330 3876 for an informal chat.

Join the IoT Glasgow Meetup to find out more; we have over 1,500 members and are one of the largest tech-focused Meetup groups in the west of Scotland. Once you join, you can see who else is attending each event.
