About

SPIE Remote Sensing is the European conference for international scientists and researchers focusing on satellite-based imaging systems and data generated by them; an opportunity to apply technology to industry.

This is an important European conference focused on giving international researchers and scientists access to the most recent satellite-based imaging systems and the data generated by them, as well as a way to share that information with peers within science, government, and industry while furthering that impact world-wide.

This year’s event will be held in Amsterdam, The Netherlands and is SPIE’s 21st Remote Sensing Europe meeting. Previous locations have been Prague, Berlin, Edinburgh and Dresden. Nearly 600 presentations will enable a forum for science, government and industry to share information on remote sensing. The symposium features ten conferences that include oral and poster presentations as well as a plenary session. A welcome reception will provide an excellent occasion to explore new opportunities to exchange ideas and network in a more personal way.
