Level 5, Sir Alwyn Williams Building

University of Glasgow, Glasgow G12 8QQ

11 Feb 2015, 5.00-7.00pm

About the Event

Held as part of the University-wide Careers Week 2015, this event hosted by the University’s College of Science and Engineering will showcase a number of postgraduate taught (MSc/Master’s level) opportunities and provide an overview of the various scholarships and funding opportunities available to UK, EU and International students.

If you are considering continuing in – or returning to – your academic studies, please come along to learn more about postgraduate taught study and to find out which scholarships are relevant to you.

In addition to brief presentations outlining specific scholarships, there will also be an opportunity to ask questions and network. This includes meeting with representatives from specific funders, current students awarded scholarships in 2014-15 and who can talk about their experiences, and also academic staff who will be available to answer any questions you have regarding specific programmes of study.

Drinks and canapés will be served.

CENSIS Involvement

Staff members from CENSIS will be there to provide further information on the collaborative MSc  programme the Innovation Centre supports with the universities of Edinburgh and Glasgow. Up to 20 fully funded places and bursaries are available on this course, beginning September 2015, for Scottish/EU students.

Who Should Attend

The event is designed for anyone interested in the postgraduate study opportunities offered by the University of Glasgow’s  College of Science and Engineering. You do not need to be a current student of the University of Glasgow, or another higher education institution, to come along.

The event is free to attend. Please visit the Eventbrite page to register by 5pm on Friday 6 February 2015.
