The IoT revolution and new communication protocols offer increased connectivity and huge opportunity for offshore platforms; join us to hear what the implications are for you and your company.

Target audience

Delivered in partnership with our sister Innovation Centre, OGIC (Oil and Gas Innovation Centre), this event is designed for oil and gas and offshore sector companies to explore new and emerging sensor and imaging systems technologies that might benefit their businesses.  A specific area of focus will be ‘no

sensor, no data’ and the enablement of the Industrial Internet of Things IIoT). The event is free to attend.

What we’ll cover

Join us on the day to hear from companies working in this space, listen to case studies, see live demos of technologies in operation, and discover how a partnership with CENSIS and OGIC can help companies tackle challenges in this space.

On the day we will be looking at:

  • Non-intrusive sensing, e.g., retrofit/clamp on sensors that measure physical or chemical parameters from the infrastructure or equipment part
  • Intrusive devices for condition monitoring of systems
  • Portable/ autonomous devices including image acquisition and analysis and NDT instrumentation
  • Other IoT related technologies applicable to offshore environments
