IoT workshop in partnership with EBV Elektronik

08:30-16:30

Please join CENSIS and EBV Elektronik for a free, one-day interactive workshop. Delegates will be introduced to the Microchip products that can be used to create a secure IoT node. The event is free and lunch and refreshments are provided.

CENSIS IoT support

This workshop is part of a series organised by CENSIS, designed to help companies overcome challenges and fast-track the development of IoT products and services. In addition to a demonstration area and project development space, we offer technology seminars with high profile vendors to provide advice and guidance on how best to use new products to generate greater business efficiencies.

About the workshop

Connected applications are increasingly being accessed using voice commands. These applications require high levels of security and controllability when connected to the Cloud. This hands-on training will demonstrate how to build ‘Works with Amazon Alexa’ IoT secured devices using Microchip’s SAMG55,  WINC1500 and ATECC608A.

Discover how to use device voice control capabilities with an  Amazon Echo Dot and Amazon Web Services (AWS), and gain practical experience using the ECC608 to secure your IoT device.

All attendees will take home a free complete Microchip kit – SAMG55, WINC1500 and ATECC608A kit.

Who should attend?

The workshop is aimed at engineers looking for a ready-to-use voice command solution aligned with Amazon Alexa in terms of firmware, hardware and development tools. Regrettably the workshop is not suitable for current undergraduates or new graduates.

Required kit

Delegates will need to their own laptop on the day and download software beforehand.
