Please join CENSIS for a lunch and learn to explore the Internet of Things (IoT) for business growth, and discover why IoT cyber security is so important. The event is free to attend and includes lunch and refreshments.

An introduction to IoT

There’s a transformation taking place in how businesses, societies and individuals work and a new era of possibility is now producing ideas and insights we never would have thought realistic only a few years ago.

IoT technologies are a game-changer, allowing companies to create new products and services or implement cost and time-saving efficiencies using data and insights gathered in real-time. Environmental, health and social care IoT applications will also have positive impacts on society.

The availability and low price of sensors, coupled with major leaps in data storage and computing capabilities, means that the time is right for businesses to embrace the major improvements, new opportunities and cost savings that IoT offers.

About the event

Completely aimed at a non-technical audience from any market or background, we’ll start at the beginning; introducing you to IoT and cyber security, looking at what it is and what it could mean for your business. We’ll then go on to explain how to get your own IoT project off the ground when you are ready.

IoT will touch every aspect of our lives in the coming years, so no matter what sector or market you are interested in, there’s an IoT opportunity for you.

You don’t need to be involved in any IoT projects right now or even planning one to take part in the lunch and learn.
