Put the kettle on and join CENSIS for a catch up over a virtual coffee and connect with other companies, researchers and stakeholders working in the same space.

Led by CENSIS Business Development Manager Cade Wells, this coffee break will look at wearable devices and IoT.

While smartwatches and FitBits are normally the first things that come to mind when we think about wearables, in recent years the market has moved far beyond devices that simply track our steps or measure the quality of our sleep. Whether it’s connected wristbands, cards, clothes, or even jewellery almost every market we can imagine is using wearables – from sports to healthcare, manufacturing to construction, health and safety to finance.

We’re interested in bringing together people interested in wearables for any market. We don’t prescribe what we’ll talk about on the day; the discussion will be controlled by our guests and what they want to talk about, but examples might include:

  • Using standalone devices v ecosystems of connected devices
  • Connectivity, communications and the cloud
  • Device functionality
  • Data analytics, visualisation and reporting
  • Hardware, software and firmware
  • Data integration across devices
  • Application areas for wearables

The chat takes place online using Zoom. Just contact us by email if you’re interested and we’ll send you details of how to join in. You can join using audio or video, and we encourage you to join in the conversation to give your thoughts or ask questions.
