Multi-sector and multi-disciplinary approaches to support social equality, wellbeing, and participation

Organised by SHAPE (Social Sciences, Humanities and the Arts for People and the Economy) and the Universities of Edinburgh and Glasgow, this online roundtable explores new ways of innovating with data for social and economic wellbeing.

CENSIS CEO Paul Winstanley will be one of the guest speakers.

The objectives of the session are to:

  • assess current challenges in using data
  • develop a social vision for the use of data
  • identify new ways to innovate with data

The event brings together experts from the public and private sector, social and data sciences, community and citizen organisations and citizen participants.  Together the group will discuss challenges and opportunities around data, and look at new ways to innovate.

This event should be of interest to researchers, public sector organisations, community development groups, private sector and citizen/service-user representatives who are looking for ways to innovate with data for the wellbeing of the people of Scotland.
