Join CENSIS for a catch up over a virtual coffee and connect with companies, researchers and stakeholders with an interest in the same space.

There is no fixed agenda for any of our virtual coffees, and we aim for forum that is open, friendly and encourages conversation. The direction of the discussion always follows whatever people on the call want to talk about, and the conversations are never recorded.

Led by CENSIS Business Development Manager, Natalia Łukaszewicz, this coffee break will explore the relation of business activities and intellectual property. We are pleased to be joined for this discussion by: Steven Gedeon, Professor of Entrepreneurship & Strategy at the Toronto Metropolitan University, Canada.

Potential topics for discussion might include:

  • The role of IP in a tech startup
  • The role of value proposition for IP strategy
  • When is a good time to start thinking about IP
  • How to build an IP strategy based on business and market knowledge
  • Creating IP before or after spinning out
  • Ensuring ownership of IP assets in your business
  • IP policies in the business

The discussion takes place over Zoom. Please register via Ticket Tailor. After you register, you’ll received a confirmation that will include the link to join the discussion. You’ll also received a reminder two days before, and just before the event starts.
